The Panthers signed one quarterback to give them a fourth arm in camp -- Louisville's Hunter Cantwell. The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder took over as the full-time starting quarterback in 2008 and completed 221 of 337 passes for 2,493 yards with 16 touchdown passes and 16 interceptions. Let's hope he works out better than Stefan Lefors.

Of those, Cadogan may have the best chance of making the club as a back

up lineman. He was a first-team Big Ten selection and starter at left tackle for Penn State. Some draft gurus had him predicted to go as high as the third round.

MEDICAL WATCH: Look for defensive tackle Damione Lewis and linebacker Jon Beason to be among those who sit out the team's rookie minicamp this weekend. Both are recovering from injuries, but nothing that will affect their status heading into the season.
